The Boys Are Back in Town

12 September, 2008 at 12:18 pm (Miscellaneous)

Robert and Kevin (and Tucker!) are back from a lengthy stay at Fire Island, so we hung out for the first time in ages yesterday. All you need to know is: tequila shots when it was still light out. ‘Nuff said.

On a more somber note…downtown yesterday they shined two towers of light for the anniversary of the terrorist attacks on 9/11. They were really amazing – you could totally see them from Robert and Kevin’s place (and they live nowhere near downtown). Our view was from a different angle (from uptown instead of across the river), and from that angle it looked like just one tower. But it looked like this:

So on that somewhat depressing note, I’m ending this blog and getting ready for work. It’s finally Friday! This weekend: Rachel comes to hang out; Sandy has a birthday; Robert and I work on my finances. Believe it or not, all things I am looking forward to doing 🙂

I am sure that was an awesome sight. Rachel hanging out tonight? Thought she was going to a movie in Trenton. Ah, well, what do I know.

I’m not sure I can handle being up against doing your finances this weekend. The pressure of having to entertain you more than that will probably cripple me.
